Not a Substitute for Emergency Services

For situations involving immediate threats to life, active fire, suspected gas leaks, live electrical hazards, crimes in progress, serious structural hazards, or other emergencies requiring police, fire, EMS, utilities, or specialized emergency contractors, contact the appropriate emergency service or provider first. Let's Fix It Upstate handles practical property response — not emergency response.

Property Securing

Making a Property Reasonably Secure

When a property has been damaged or is vacant, it may need to be made reasonably secure within our company's capabilities. We provide temporary securing of compromised openings and lock changes as needed.

We do not guarantee that a property is burglar-proof or completely secure. Securing is temporary where appropriate, and we will let you know if a situation requires a specialized contractor.

What We Can Include

  • Window board-ups
  • Door board-ups
  • Lock changes
  • Basic door/window securing
  • Vacant-property securing
  • Damage documentation

Board-Up Service

Damaged Windows & Doors Leave a Property Exposed

A broken window or damaged door can leave a property vulnerable after an incident. Let's Fix It Upstate can assess the situation within company capabilities, photograph the condition, and provide temporary board-up service where appropriate.

Accidental damage
Vandalism
Storm damage
Tenant damage
Vacancy
Other property incidents

Temporary board-up — not specialized structural stabilization.

Commercial Clients Can Receive

  • Arrival-condition photographs
  • Before photographs
  • After photographs
  • Written work notes
  • Description of visible concerns
  • Completion documentation

Damage Documentation

Practical Property Documentation

Documentation gives owners and managers a clear record of what was found and what was done. The purpose is practical property documentation for the customer.

These reports are not professional engineering reports, insurance-adjuster reports, home inspections, or official damage assessments.

Storm & Debris Cleanup

Practical Cleanup After Storms and Debris

After a storm or unexpected debris, we can help get the property cleaned up and presentable again.

Cleanup Services

  • Fallen limb cleanup
  • Yard debris
  • Storm debris
  • Loose exterior debris
  • General property cleanup

What This Is Not

  • No hazardous-material cleanup
  • No major disaster restoration
  • No utility-line work
  • No work around live power lines or other dangerous utilities

Tree & Limb Work

Appropriate Tree & Limb Cutting

Let's Fix It Upstate can handle appropriate tree and limb cutting and cleanup within current equipment and capabilities. If a project exceeds company capabilities, it may require an appropriate specialized contractor.

What We Do Not Advertise

  • Professional arborist services
  • Large hazardous tree removal
  • Crane work
  • Work involving power lines
  • Services requiring specialized licensing or certification that has not been established

Vacant Property Response

When a Vacant Property Needs Attention

Let's Fix It Upstate can visit the property, document the visible condition, perform authorized work within company capabilities, and report back to the owner or manager. This is an important commercial service for owners of vacant properties.

Commercial Response

A Local Field Resource for Property Managers

Property managers sometimes need someone physically at a property when they cannot be there themselves. Let's Fix It Upstate can provide an on-site presence for appropriate property issues, document what is found, perform authorized work within company capabilities, and report completion.
